jim.. im very excited to hear your story. i hope everything goes well for you in Wisconsin.

im pretty excited about our gathering tonight. i started the evening with this nagging fear that we would discuss all these ways to help mark out but then we’d never do them.. but for some reason i have a feeling that this.. this is definitely going to happen.

i’ve been talking with most of you ( lp’rs that is ) for almost two years about community, friendship, sharing resources, social justice, etc. etc. and now here it is.. here are all of those things coming together in one place.

what do you think of this idea? after we raise the first $200,000 for mark.. we should continue to raise funds for cancer patients without health insurance. that seems to fit really well with what we believe the church to be all about.. its politics, its alternative vision, its sharing with the poor, its caring for the sick.

well im jumping back onto the blogging saddle.. you know what that means right? The blogging strike is over! Amy and mark met this first goal.. and as it stands right now they can stay in the hospital for another week. a big thanks to everyone who donated!

I went to the jazz and ribs festival last night.. that was easily the best ribs ive ever had.. but im not sure ive ever really had good ribs before.. today ill be going over to my grandmas house to teach her a little more about email and in return ill be eating grilled hamburgers.. mm boy.

it looks as if ill be taking a full time position at motivo starting monday. im hoping to load up on regent lecture audio to fill my ears with as i “production design” away..
